In the first part of the Relationship Series, Denise & Jordan talk about their romantic relationships with their partners and how both of them found their significant others so young. They start off the episode with a little housekeeping (Announcing the Logo Contest winner & MM is now on TikTok!) and then move into a fun game where they guess each others "types" based off of fictional characters and actors that they've had crushes on. Getting into the main topic of discussion they both do a quick recap of their current relationships, how they met, where they are today and the biggest struggles they've faced with their partners.

On this episode of Mental Maintenance, Denise and Jordan talk with Josh Neumann , the founder of Kind Lips, about how he decided to start his company, why he was drawn to lip balm and what motivated him to give 20% of their profits to end bullying. Josh remembers what it was like to quit his successful real estate career making everyone think he was crazy and how a bizarre phone call with his Mom confirmed that he was on the correct path. Afterwards, Denise and Jordan discuss bullying and the effects that it's had on them throughout their lives including current day with their young children. They also take a moment to read a few anonymous listener experiences one of which brings up the fact that we all need to lean on our close personal network of friends and family because that's what they're there for. Kind Lips is a such a great physical reminder to say something kind even if it's to yourself (especially to your self). Thanks so much to Josh for coming on our little podcast! We had so much fun!

Jordan reflects on her relationship with her parents and how lucky she is that they all get along so well but reveals that it hasn’t ALWAYS been that way. She talks about the time in her life when she especially struggled to connect with her Mom and how they moved through that. Denise talks about her Mom and how she is gladly accepting the organic evolution of their relationship in the past year.
